The 5/4 Casa Union Cusco Program invites you to explore Cusco’s most iconic archaeological sites. Experience the rich history and culture through the City Tour, visit the enchanting Sacred Valley of the Incas, marvel at the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu, and discover the fascinating experimental agricultural center of Moray and the stunning Salt Mines of Maras. Together, these destinations offer an extraordinary journey through the heart of the Inca civilization.

Day 01: Arrival in Cusco / City Tour and Surrounding Ruins

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the Qoyapalace accommodation, where you’ll receive assistance with your tours and enjoy a refreshing coca mate.
In the afternoon, embark on a City Tour and visit the surrounding ruins. Explore the Plaza de Armas, the majestic Cathedral, and the Temple of the Sun, also known as Qorikancha. Outside the city, visit four incredible archaeological sites: Kenko, Tambomachay, Pucapucara, and the impressive Sacsayhuamán Fortress, strategically located on a hill overlooking Cusco. Admire its enormous carved stones, some reaching over 9 meters (30 feet) high and weighing more than 350 tons. After the tour, return to Qoyapalace for the evening. (Meals not included)


Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas (8:30 AM Departure)

Your day begins with a hotel pick-up at 8:30 AM. The tour includes a visit to the archaeological site of Pisaq and its vibrant artisan market, where you can find unique handcrafted items at reasonable prices. Around midday, arrive in Urubamba to enjoy a typical buffet lunch, featuring a variety of Novo-Andean dishes. Afterward, continue to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, a fascinating site of historical importance.
From Ollantaytambo, board your pre-selected train to Machu Picchu (please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure). After a scenic 2-hour journey, you’ll arrive in Aguas Calientes, where our staff will meet you and transfer you to the Qoya Palace Hotel. Upon check-in, you’ll receive details for the following day’s guided tour. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.


Day 03: Machu Picchu Tour

Start your day early with breakfast before boarding the bus to Machu Picchu. Once there, you’ll marvel at the architectural genius and breathtaking beauty of this ancient Inca citadel, recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour led by a knowledgeable guide who will uncover the history and secrets of this iconic site.
After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (optional), before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo (arrive 30 minutes before departure). From there, transportation will be waiting to bring you back to Cusco.


Day 04: Maras and Moray

Meet at the designated time and location to begin your journey to Maras and Moray. Along the way, visit a traditional artisan community in Chinchero, where you’ll observe the intricate process of llama wool treatment.
Your first destination is the Maras Salt Mines (entrance not included), where you’ll learn about the salt extraction process and have time to take photos. Next, head to Moray, an agricultural laboratory used by the Incas to experiment with crops from different regions. Walk along the designated paths, take stunning photos, and experience the variation in climate across the terraces, which can have up to a 150-meter difference between the top and bottom levels. After the 6-hour tour, return to Cusco, arriving in the city center.


Day 05: Transfer to the Airport

After breakfast, our team will pick you up and transfer you to the airport or bus terminal for your departure, ensuring a smooth and pleasant conclusion to your trip.

  • Wear comfortable footwear such as sneakers, light shoes, or tennis shoes.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids during your excursions.
  • Bring a raincoat or poncho, especially during the rainy season.
  • Pack long-sleeved shirts and long pants for added comfort and protection.
  • Use insect repellent to avoid bites.
  • Apply sunscreen and wear a wide-brimmed hat for sunny days.
  • Carry a lightweight backpack or small bag for essentials.
  • Have small-denomination cash in dollars, euros, or soles readily available.
