Itinerary
DAY 01: CITY TOUR IN CUSCO
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. After a brief orientation and program details, we’ll coordinate your first tour, typically scheduled for the afternoon at 1:20 PM. Enjoy a fascinating guided city tour of Cusco, exploring iconic landmarks such as Koricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. This tour lasts approximately 4 hours and offers a perfect introduction to the history and culture of the region.
DAY 02: TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU
Begin your day early with an unforgettable journey to Machu Picchu. The itinerary includes:
- Hotel pick-up in Cusco.
- Transfer by tourist bus from Cusco to Ollantaytambo Station.
- Train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes).
- Upon arrival, your guide will meet you to start the tour.
- Bus transfer from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
- Guided tour of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary (2.5 to 3 hours) where you’ll marvel at its incredible history and breathtaking views.
- After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes by bus and follow the guide’s instructions carefully. Ensure you arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes before departure.
- Train ride back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.
- Return by bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
DAY 03: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
At the agreed time, our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport, ensuring a smooth and timely departure.
